I have a Windows 8.1 OS and for some odd reason my Google Chrome browser keeps opening windows and tabs by itself whether I have the browser open or not.
Also when I click on a link or an email a new Google Chrome tab or window will open. I ran spybot, malwarebytes, and McAfee virus scan and they did not solve the issue.

To all that are having problems with the chrome window popping up every 10 minutes. If you have survey savvy's savvyconnect extension on your chrome browser, that is what is causing it.
You have to unistall savvyconnect. If you just delete it out of chrome, the sneaky little bugger, reinstalls itself in the browser, and keeps replicating windows every 10 minutes.
I emailed surveysavvy to let them know. I uninstalled the whole program, and the windows stopped popping up. I hope this helps everyone. Please download by Old Timer and save it to your desktop.
Save any unsaved work. (TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!).
